I went here on a whim as I was driving back to Boise yesterday. I was a little nervous to try as I feel like many bakeries sort of "fail" in my mind, but it was either this place or Starbucks... yuck! I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised.
I'm so happy I went in. I got an iced americano (only one size for iced drinks-16oz) and a pesto mozzarella bagel with chive cream cheese and cucumbers. The service was friendly, quick, and accurate. Two guys working there were accommodating to my order and very efficient. It also only cost $5.75 which is very reasonable to me.
The thing I want to RAVE about is their bagels and cream cheese. Omg-- run to this place now and get a bagel!!! I had to eat it in the car while driving and typically bagels get super messy when you have anything inside of them (meat/eggs/veggies). Ya know, all of those things tend to slide or fall out when you bite down. This one did not. It was delicately soft, perfectly balanced flavor, and made me so happy. Usually when eating a bagel in the car, I find myself saying a lot of cuss words, ha! I wish I lived closer by because this place would be a staple. The picture doesn't do the bagel justice. Try it for yourself. -

This bakery has its heart (if not its location) in the right place. It is locally owned, independent, and tries to use local ingredients. It serves coffee from a local roaster, Garage Coffee, from Molalla (not my favorite, but better than Starbux). The specialty seems to be bagels, which they make big, doughy and chewy. They're not exactly NY-style, but they're not bad either. There are about 6 varieties, including everything and cheddar-jalapeño. They offer sandwiches on the bagels in addition to cream-cheese schmears. The prices are reasonable.
This place's biggest disadvantage, unfortunately, is its location. It is a little hard to find, in a soulless strip mall off of 99E. If this were in Canby's cute downtown, it could really benefit from street traffic. Unfortunately, it's kind of off-the-beaten path and will likely draw only those with auto's. I hope it succeeds regardless, as we need more independent bakeries in the suburbs. -

Loved the fresh made bagels and the price was reasonable as well. Great ambiance, plenty of seating, and friendly staff. I would definitely go again!

Pleasant service and customer care. Delicious chai and bagels are amazing. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming.
Initially hard to find because the sidewalk sign wasn't out, but asking someone helped to find it. Worth the effort! -

The food here is very good and the gal who took our order at the counter initially was very friendly and service oriented. The sourpuss who suddenly appeared to help her when things got busy, however, messed up the tally on our order and then acted very put-upon when we asked him to redo it. He never apologized for his mistake and was actually downright rude to us. The bakery items and coffee we got were good and we would have put this on a list of places to return to if the guy hadn't soured us on the place. Too bad!!!
